One hundred squares of Brazilian cowhide, sewn edge to edge into one square rug of 79 x 79 in (200 x 200 cm). Plain brown squares sit next to speckled and spotted ones in brown and white, so from across the room it reads as a soft grid, and up close you see every hide.
Each square is about 8 x 8 in and no two are marked the same, so your rug will differ a little from the photo. Cowhide is short-haired and hard-wearing, which makes it a good fit under a coffee table, in a dining area or in a home office.
Care: shake it out or vacuum on a low setting without the brush. Wipe spills straight away with a damp cloth and a little neutral soap. Never soak it.

Care depends on the skin. Vacuum on the lowest setting and shake it out two or three times a month, keep dyed skins out of direct sun, and treat spills straight away with a damp cloth. Washing instructions for every type we sell are on our product care page.

Shipping to Canada is CA$15, and free on orders of CA$200 or more. Your order ships from our warehouse in Denmark with UPS and usually arrives in 2 to 4 business days. Canadian duties and taxes are not included and are collected by UPS on delivery.
You have 100 days to return it. Returns go to our US returns address in Georgia, so the parcel crosses the border on its way back. The full terms are in our refund policy.
Your payment information is processed securely. We do not store credit card details nor have access to your credit card information.
No two hides are the same
Our sheepskins and cowhides are real hides, so no two of them are alike. The shade, the shape and the length of the hair shift from one piece to the next. That is not a flaw, it is what a natural product looks like, and it is why a photograph can only ever get close.
Hide sizes are given as an approximate measurement for the same reason. A hide is cut by nature rather than by a machine, so allow a little either way.
