Shipping policy

Everything you order from sheepskinhouse.com is packed at our own warehouse in Denmark and delivered to your door in the United States or Canada by UPS. Here is exactly what that costs and how long it takes.

Shipping cost

Shipping inside the United States is a flat $9.95
Orders of $150 or more ship free. The threshold is measured on your cart subtotal before any discount code, and there is nothing to enter or claim. Your cart shows how far you are from it while you shop.

Delivery time

Most US orders arrive within 2 to 4 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, public holidays excluded. Every parcel is tracked the whole way.

Taxes and duties

For orders delivered in the United States, the price you see is the price you pay. Tax is included in our prices, so nothing is added at checkout, and any customs or import duty on your order is covered by us. Nothing is collected from you when the parcel is handed over.

Shipping to Canada

We deliver to Canada too. Canadian orders are packed at the same warehouse in Denmark and delivered to your door by UPS. When you shop from Canada, prices are shown and charged in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Shipping cost to Canada

Shipping to Canada is CA$15. Orders of CA$200 or more ship free. The threshold is measured on your cart subtotal before any discount code, duties or taxes, and there is nothing to enter or claim.

Delivery time to Canada

Most Canadian orders arrive within 2 to 4 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, public holidays excluded. Every parcel is tracked the whole way.

Taxes and duties for Canada

Prices for Canada are shown without Canadian taxes. Canadian duties and taxes are not included and are collected by UPS on delivery. They are not charged at checkout. When your parcel arrives, UPS asks you to pay the duty and import taxes (GST or HST, plus QST or PST in some provinces), together with its own fees for handling that payment, before it hands the parcel over. The amount depends on what you order and where you live.

Returns from Canada

You have the same 100 days from the day your order arrives. Returns from Canada go to our returns address in the United States, so your parcel crosses the border:

Mark the parcel clearly as "RETURNED GOODS" and attach the invoice or return form to the outside of the box. If that paperwork is missing we are charged US$15 when the parcel arrives and have to pass it on to you. Once your return is on its way, email hello@sheepskinhouse.com with your order number and the return tracking number.

Tracking your order

Two emails come your way. The first confirms your order as soon as you buy. The second carries the UPS tracking link and goes out when your parcel actually leaves us. If the confirmation has not arrived within an hour, please check your spam folder before you get in touch.

If your parcel is delayed

Most orders run on time, but now and then one stalls in the network. If your tracking has not moved for two business days, email hello@sheepskinhouse.com with your order number and we will chase UPS from our end, which is usually faster than doing it from yours.

If your order arrives damaged

Email hello@sheepskinhouse.com with your order number and a photo of the damage, and include the outer packaging if the box has taken a knock. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.

One thing worth knowing: every skin is a real hide, so size, shade and the hair vary from one piece to the next, and from the photo on your screen. That is a natural material behaving like one, not a fault. Damage that happened in transit is on us and we will put it right.

If you entered the wrong address

Email us as soon as you can with your order number and the correct address. If the parcel has not left us we can usually change it. Once it is with UPS we cannot redirect it, so it will either be delivered as addressed or come back to us, and we will resend it or refund you, whichever you prefer.

Returns

You have 100 days from the day your order arrives to send it back. Returns go to:

Once your return is on its way, email hello@sheepskinhouse.com with your order number and the return tracking number so we can process it. There is no need to contact us before you send it back. Refunds go back to the card used for the order. We do not exchange items, so return the piece you have and place a new order for the one you want. The full terms are in our Refund policy.

Parcels sent back from outside the United States have to be marked "RETURNED GOODS" with the invoice attached to the outside of the box. Otherwise a US$15 charge applies.
