We measured this one at 33 square feet, which is around 3.1 m². It is hide 0790, and the photographs on this page are of that exact hide.
Natural products vary, and that is the point of buying one. The color, the pattern and the exact outline are particular to this animal.
At this size it works in front of a chair, beside a bed or down a hallway. It also sits well under a small coffee table without swallowing the table legs.
Looking after it is simple. Shake and air it, treat spills quickly with neutral soap and warm water up to 104°F / 40°C, keep chemical cleaners away from it and turn it now and then so one end does not take all the traffic.

No two hides are the same
Our sheepskins and cowhides are real hides, so no two of them are alike. The shade, the shape and the length of the hair shift from one piece to the next. That is not a flaw, it is what a natural product looks like, and it is why a photograph can only ever get close.
Hide sizes are given as an approximate measurement for the same reason. A hide is cut by nature rather than by a machine, so allow a little either way.
