Scandinavian hides, Gotland among them, sit between the long haired Icelandic pelts and the denser New Zealand ones. The hair is medium length with a distinct grey cast that runs from silver through to near black.

What makes it different

That grey is natural. It is one of the few sheepskin colors dye cannot copy convincingly, because the variation runs through each fiber rather than sitting on top of it.

Hides are usually smaller and less uniform than New Zealand pelts, so this is a collection to buy from by eye rather than by size alone. Stock is limited by what comes out of each season.
