Description
Two whole New Zealand lambskins, sewn together lengthways into one long rug that measures 63 x 24 inches (160 x 60 cm). That's 3 inches wider than a queen bed, so it lies right across the foot of one. It also works along the side of a bed, over a bench or draped over a sofa.
The hair is long, straight and thick, about 2 inches, and it brushes back into place easily. Every skin keeps its own natural structure after dyeing, so shade and texture shift a little from one rug to the next. No two are exactly alike.
The name comes from Old Norse. A fell is both a pelt and the high ground where sheep graze, and a vang is a fenced meadow.

- Champagne: a warm, creamy beige, a shade deeper than ivory. Easy next to pale wood and light rooms.
- Ivory: the lightest of the six, a soft off-white.
- Light Grey: a pale, cool grey.
- Dark Beige: a deeper, greyer beige that sits close to taupe.
- Toffee: a warm caramel brown.
- Coal: deep steel grey and the coolest of the six. It stands out against light furniture.

Care
Shake it out regularly and brush it with a sheepskin brush when the hair needs lifting. Don't machine wash it. Dyed sheepskin fades in strong sunlight, so keep it away from sunny windows. It isn't made for outdoor use.
