44 square feet of Brazilian cowhide, listed here as hide 2532. It is the only one of its kind we hold, and once it sells there is no second copy of it.
Natural products vary, and that is the point of buying one. The color, the pattern and the exact outline are particular to this animal.
At this size it anchors a room. It will take a sofa and a coffee table, or sit under a six-seat dining table with room to push the chairs back.
Looking after it is simple. Shake and air it, treat spills quickly with neutral soap and warm water up to 104°F / 40°C, keep chemical cleaners away from it and turn it now and then so one end does not take all the traffic.
Delivery is free over $150 and returns stay open for 100 days.

Care depends on the skin. Vacuum on the lowest setting and shake it out two or three times a month, keep dyed skins out of direct sun, and treat spills straight away with a damp cloth. Washing instructions for every type we sell are on our product care page.

No two hides are the same
Our sheepskins and cowhides are real hides, so no two of them are alike. The shade, the shape and the length of the hair shift from one piece to the next. That is not a flaw, it is what a natural product looks like, and it is why a photograph can only ever get close.
Hide sizes are given as an approximate measurement for the same reason. A hide is cut by nature rather than by a machine, so allow a little either way.
