The Mongolian sheepskin plaid is made of perfectly matched pieces of high quality sheepskin. The pieces are sewed together, but this is not visible anywhere. The backside of the plaid is made of a robust and soft fabric. Not only is the sheepskin soft, it also has the beautiful Mongolian curls.

Care
Care depends on the skin. Vacuum on the lowest setting and shake it out two or three times a month, keep dyed skins out of direct sun, and treat spills straight away with a damp cloth. Washing instructions for every type we sell are on our product care page.

No two hides are the same
Our sheepskins and cowhides are real hides, so no two of them are alike. The shade, the shape and the length of the hair shift from one piece to the next. That is not a flaw, it is what a natural product looks like, and it is why a photograph can only ever get close.
Hide sizes are given as an approximate measurement for the same reason. A hide is cut by nature rather than by a machine, so allow a little either way.
